From April through October the nursery is full of trees and shrubs to complete any landscape project. We offer a selection of shrubs for common or unique situations; of all shapes and sizes, including many new, unusual varieties and some of the older proven ones, including many varieties of:
ANGELICA TREE
- DEVIL'S WALKING STICK/ JAPANESE ANGELICA TREE- 4.5m high, 3.5m wide. Upright. a large shrub or tree usually with spiny stems. Large white flowers in August and September. Purple-black fruit and dark green foliage. Soes well in city conditions and dry soils.
ARALIA
- FIVELEAF ARALIA- 2.5m high, 2.5m wide. Erect, Oval. One of the best shrubs for heavily shaded areas; easily withstands poor soil, urban air pollution and windy conditions. Foliage glossy, deeply cut and covered with prickles on the underside. Makes an ideal privacy hedge and barrier.
- VARIEGATED FIVELEAF ARALIA- 1.5m high, 1.5m wide. Erect, Round. Glossy green leaves with irregular cream margins are sometimes completely creamy-yellow. An upright growing unfavourable conditions and with its throns it makes a good screen.
CHOKEBERRY
- BLACK CHOKEBERRY- 6m high, 3m wide. Oval, Upright. Upright shrub when young, but more arching as it matures. White flowers with purplish-black fruit and a red fall colour. Native.

- CONCORDE BARBERRY- 50cm high, 50cm wide. Upright. Dwarf upright form with deep purple, velvety foliage. A rust free variety with yellow flowers and bright red fruit.
- CHERRY BOMB BARBERRY- 1.25m high, 1.25m wide. Rounded. Compact branches make a low hedge, barrier or single shrub accent. Bright red berries last into the winter. Crimson colouring to the foliage. Slow growth.

- ROYAL BURGUNDY BARBERRY- 60cm high, 60cm wide. Upright. Velvety burgundy-purple foliage, slightly a little more compact. Foliage turns black-red in the fall.
- RUBY CAROUSEL BARBERRY- 1m high, 1m wide. Low, Rounded. This plant has reddish-purple foliage and uniform habit. Low, rounded shape can be used as a accent, hedge or barrier plant because of its thorns. Red berries thru the winter. It prefers a moist, well drained soil.
- SUNSATION BARBERRY- 1.25m high, 1.25m wide. Upright. A golden Barberry is an compact form. Golden foliage with an orange cast most of the season. This plant will add a vivid contrast to the garden especially when mixed with dark green evergreens.

- BLOODGOOD JAPANESE MAPLE- 6m high, 5m wide. Rounded, Upright. The best purplish-red Japanese Maole, holding its deep colour well throughout the summer. Leaves somewaht larger than those of the purple form. Small tree for lawns or patios or even entryways.
- CORAL BARK JAPANESE MAPLE- 6m high, 5m wide. Upright and Upright Spreading. The Coral Bark Maple is a popular tree with beautiful yellow-green leaves, tinged with red in spring. Later in fall, the leaves turn shades of apricot and gold. The bright, coral-red bark is its most outstanding feature during the winter season. Young branches, two years old or less, possess the bright colour, while the mature branches fade back into the landscape.
