VINES

Flowering vines and climbers are an important structural element of your landscape design.  They are fast-growing, heavy-blooming and versatile for their many applications.

• Small gardens benefit from the small amount of ground space they require, while simultaneously providing a vertical shower of colorful blooms.
• Vines also provide interest on monotonous walls, fences, posts, arbors, and can “soften a building” and act as an attractive screen for privacy or unattractive views.
• Some vines are known for their rich fragrance and ability to attract hummingbirds.
• An especially attractive aspect of vines is their ability to shade a home’s exterior walls from hot southern and western sun—think of it as natural cooling!
